Grok Bot is the best AI agent ever. Here's how to set it up

We graded the Grok Bot setup tape. The roster is stealable. The army is a closer. Receipts inside.

Alex FinnWatch on YouTube

TLDR. Watch it for the setup. Pin a chief of staff, brain dump, reverse prompt, Agent Mail, named seats. Do not watch it for the army that runs your entire life. That is a cold open, not a desk.

Mixed Bag

What's actually being done

Look, this is the how-to that the other Finn tape only pointed at. Pin Slate. Dump your life. Ask the bot how it would hire. Let it stand the team up. Then he walks Agent Mail, Gmail, Calendar, X, Vercel, Last 30 Days, Tailscale. That is a real first Tuesday.

The roster is the same shop we already graded: Build on the machines, Barry on X every 30 minutes, Dusty in the community on his own inbox, Cindy on the sponsorship pile, Reed running experiments while Slate watches. Context tax again. Split the prompt or the bot gets fat and dumb. He still will not rip Hermes.

The Good

Here's the thing. I wanted a life OS. What I got was a staffing guide, and that is the better tape:

  • One door, then delegate. Pin the chief of staff. Talk to Slate. Let Slate find Build and Cindy. A hundred named bots with no front door is a phone book, not a company.
  • Brain dump, then reverse prompt. Tell it who you are. Ask which bots and routines to stand up. Then say set them up. That is the one process worth stealing twice.
  • Give them an inbox, not yours. Agent Mail, invite Dusty as a moderator, keep the admin seat. Walton walked his own stores. He did not hand the keys to the stock boy.
  • Name the person. Title the job. Coder is a folder. A name plus CTO is a teammate. Fun is not decoration here. Fun is why you keep opening the app.
  • Opinionated is the product. No model picker. No thinking-level dropdown. Work happens on the VM unless you say otherwise. He came in wanting local. He left cloud-pilled. That conversion is the review.

The Bullshit

The cold open is a draft notice. Fleet. 24/7. 365. Entire life. Then the tape is a plugin list and a spreadsheet of emails.

If you stick with me until the end of the video, you will have an army of AI agents taking care of your entire life for you all around the clock. You will have five named chats and a homework list. An army has a payroll.

Best AI agent ever. Out of the box. Zero config. Then: Tailscale, Vercel, X, Last 30 Days, three Agent Mail inboxes, a reverse prompt, and a routine every 30 minutes until 11:30 p.m. That is config. It is just config with nicer nouns.

I also have the Vibe Coding Academy, number one AI community on the internet.Third tape. Same closer. Number one according to the man selling the boot camp.

90 percent of my business. Five bots and a feeling. Show the other 10 percent or stop using percents.

The Contradictions

  • Opened as it just works with no setup. The body is 25 minutes of setup.
  • Do not name bots after jobs. Then he introduces Build, and Last 30 Days named itself.
  • Don't rip Hermes, keep both. The title still sounds like a coronation.
  • Cloud-pilled because the VM keeps bots out of your accounts. Build is on Tailscale across every machine in the house. Pick a religion.

The Grades

Alex Finn, host: 5.8. Alex finally filmed the setup. Pin the CEO, dump the life, hire the desk, give Dusty his own mail. That is why this is more useful than the last Finn tape. The miss is the poster. Army, entire life, best ever, 90 percent of the business, number one community. On a how-to, those lines are ads wearing a tutorial. Steal the staffing chart. Leave the draft notice.

Kill shotHe promised an army that runs your life. He delivered a chief of staff and a spreadsheet of emails.
